About Us
BeStrong Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization operating in the State
of Washington.
Currently, we are only web-based and seeking to grow.
BeStrong Ministries was founded to introduce others to
Jesus Christ and provide resources for growth and
encouragement. Our founder and CEO, Dana Thompson,
suffers from chronic pain caused by intractable
migraines. These migraines confine Dana to her house
and bed for long periods of time, making contact with
other people difficult. Desiring to share Christ and
His message of Love, Hope and Mercy with others, she
founded BeStrong Ministries. What do we

Ministry Goals
Our desire at BeStrong Ministries is to introduce others
to who Jesus Christ really is and not who we
think He is or "should" be. We are a young
ministry who seeks to increase the depth and breadth of our outreach and resources.
OUR FUTURE:
We are always open to new ideas and ways
to share Christ. Here are a couple ideas we want to
implement.

Open a center (building) that provides additional
resources and staff “in person” (as opposed to
website only). Offer counseling/life coaching, kid
activities, even free basic medical.

Lending Library- you will be able to view titles
online and select the books you want. We will send
the books to you at no cost, and you return when
finished!

Support and/or send missionaries throughout the
world.

Expand Resources to include nation-wide Church
directory and more comprehensive overall links and
resources.

At 25, I received this vision for BeStrong Ministries. I am currently
medically disabled, confined to my house/bed due to chronic pain. I
went through a dark time in my faith when I could not understand why the
Lord did not answer prayers for healing. I was confronted with many
fellow Christians either condemning me for lack of faith or shunning me
because my healing was withheld due to "sin." Few in the Christian
community knew what to do with me. I wasn’t even sure what to do with
myself!
I had grand dreams
for my life, and was frustrated and
confused when the Lord withheld these from me.
Over time, the Lord brought a new
perspective to my faith that strengthened and transformed my life. I learned the
meaning of suffering and the acceptance of God’s will despite any
circumstance. I do not believe my life is about my dreams, but
about loving and bringing glory to my Blessed Savior, Jesus Christ.

Through this ministry, I desire to introduce others to who Jesus Christ
really is, not who we think He is or who He “should be”. The
Lord has so radically changed my life that I can’t help but tell others
about Him. He exchanged my sorrow, disappointment and despair for His
hope, strength and joy. I seek to share the Gospel of Christ, which is
overflowing with abundant HOPE, PEACE and JOY. Life without Christ is
so empty and void. It is like wandering aimlessly in a barren desert
with no hope of finding an oasis. Christ is a permanent oasis and
sanctuary that circumstances can never drain! I also want to offer
resources and encouragement to fellow believers and seekers. Life is confusing and
difficult most of the time; but Christ is the Way to abundant life. I
understand much skepticism exists today about Christ and the Christian
way of life. But I know with every fiber of my being, that once an
individual meets Christ, all negativity dissolves in the presence of His
love. All I desire, is for each individual to give God a chance. Ask
Him to reveal Himself to you, to make Himself known to you. Then wait,
and allow Him the opportunity to answer.
